The Auction Piece

Fenny Suter has lovingly embroidered “Blue Lagoon” (below) with cotton and linen thread on linen and wool felt. She has signed the back and stretched the piece on a bamboo hoop so its ready to hang. The work measures 8 inches / 20 cm in diameter.

About Fenny and Her Embroideries

I stumbled across Fenny Suters work on Instagram and it was love at first sight! Let me tell you she is one to watch!

Her aquamarine lagoons bordered by banana leaves and tropical plants reminded me of my time travelling around Southeast Asia. All her embroideries have such a serene, mindful quality to them.

With her embroidery designs, Fenny aims to share her ‘love of life’s simple and nuanced moments…cosy moments that include a cat, stacks of books, and snuggle-worthy blankets and chairs’, and she definitely manages to do that with her gorgeous artworks.

Instagram Art Auction Details

The auction will take place on The Fiber Studio Instagram account on Thursday 22^nd November.

Bidding will run for two days, starting at 5 pm on Thursday and ending at 5 pm on Saturday. Greenwich meantime.

The starting bid will be set at £30.00.

Visit The Fiber Studio on Instagram at any time between 5 pm on Thursday and 5 pm on Saturday (GMT).

Locate the auction post (it will be the most recent in The Fiber Studio feed).

Read the most recent comment to find out the highest bid.

Post your own comment with your bid in Pound Sterling.

At The End of The Auction

At 5 pm (GMT) on Saturday 24^th November the auction will end. Any bids made after 5 pm will not be counted. I will get in contact with the highest bidder to let them know they have won and to exchange delivery and payment details.

The winning bidder will pay The Fiber Studio the final bid value as well as the postage cost via PayPal. The artist will be in touch to arrange postage once payment has been received.

Details

The winning bidder of the Instagram art auction is responsible for paying postage which is £10 if you live in the US or Canada, and £19 for everywhere else.

All bidding must be in British Pound Sterling.

Bids must be in multiples of pounds, no pennies please!

The minimum bid increase is £1.00

Only bids in the post comments will be counted. No direct messages and no bidding through other social media platforms.

The Fiber Studio does not take any responsibly for the artwork after the auction has ended and payment has been received. This includes loss and damage. When the auction ends, the artist will be in contact for further arrangements.

Any bids cast after 5 pm GMT on Saturday 24^th November will not be counted.
